Kiss, Marry or Kill: 39
A delightfully juicy thriller, the summertime meal I can't stop eating, more on GLP-1s, the author I'm currently obsessed with, and my come-to-Jesus with social media
This is my weekly series for subscribers only, where I’ll share things that caught my eye this week in a fun and flirty way (kiss), a sustainable way (marry), or a not-so-good way (kill). And yes, this trendy game is technically “f***, marry, or kill” but we run a family-friendly-ish show around here.
Kiss (things I like right now)

I LOVED THIS STORY. First, the narration was velvety smooth and made me immediately look up other books narrated by Romy Evans. (Sadly, there aren’t many! She is an untapped talent!) Second, the twists. Oh, the twists! The plot was gripping from the get-go, and the pacing was perfect. It gives “beach read” vibes in that it’s fun, fast-paced, and gleefully juicy. Also, I love hearing how the super-rich live, and the details of the characters’ clothing, home decor, and designs were a fun supporting character.
I will say this, however—you will have to suspend disbelief just a tad. Are parts of the story kind of hard to believe? Yes, they are. Did I have moments where I thought, “I mean, no way is this going to work?” I did. But trust me—just go with it! I would not steer you wrong, and the way the story unfolds was perfectly satisfying.
