Dear MU, I just found out that I am pregnant with my second child. My best friend is dealing with a heartbreaking infertility journey. How can I tell her that I'm pregnant in a way that is sensitive? —Life is unfair

First, congratulations. I'm really happy for you, and wish you nothing but joy and health in this pregnancy. I am also in admiration of your compassion in writing this question. Here is how I'd move forward, thinking about my own experience grieving loss (of a marriage, not a baby) and knowing how it felt when friends shared their engagement announcements or wedding invitations with me during that difficult period.
