The best thing I have read in awhile. You are both great and are helping so many people with the big task of making it healthy in the kitchen. Loved getting to meet you both in Toledo! Wishing great success to you bothπ
I have every one of Danielleβs cookbooks, and I was lucky enough to win an early copy of Make It Easy. Iβm currently eating leftovers of Cajun salmon with coconut lime cauliflower rice with pineapple salsa, which is in the new book. Itβs delicious. And it sounds complicated, but I swear it was so easy!!! This book is what the paleo/gluten free community has been waiting for. Any cookbook Iβve ever read that has really easy recipes typically involve lots of processed food and ingredients that I canβt eat. This one does not. Not only are the recipes simple, Danielle even gives you a ton of short cuts for every single recipe! This is a fantastic resource, and I know Iβm going to be making these recipes all. the. time.
I absolutely will! Seriously, I almost cried reading through the book. My daughter has been gluten and dairy free since 2007 or 2008, and I remember standing in Whole Foods with a list of completely unfamiliar foods we could try. Thankfully things have come a long way since then, but still cooking always takes me so long, and last nightβs salmon was on the table so fast, I was completely blown away. This is an amazing resource for people who want to try a new way of eating but are overwhelmed or intimidated. You knocked this one out of the park! β€οΈ
I had never heard of you, Melissa, but Danielle joining you in Ohio piqued my interest- I ordered your book! Thank you both for raising the tide and being gals who support other women (from a small biz owner). β€οΈ
WELL THAT MADE ME CRY. I did NOT expect that. Thank you @melissau for always being equally as supportive and offering your advice in so many areas. This tour quite literally wouldnβt have happened if it wasnβt for you!
Women supporting other women - raising each other up - is the best vibe. Competition is born of the fear of lack. And thatβs just not a thing I buy into. Love this for both of you. π
I freaking love everything about this post. There's plenty of space in this world for gritty, badass, brilliant women to shine. Happy to have met you in SLC on your book tour and can't wait to get Danielle's book when it ships in September. Cheers to being Danielle ... and Melissa.
I just βdiscoveredβ Danielle a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the New Whole 30 and pre-ordered her cookbook the same day. Canβt wait to receive it. Danielleβs preorder gift of a handful of new recipes have been great!
You know I love this.
Love this so much - what a duo! ππ»
