Love these ideas and suspect there’s a time and place for each. Thanks for sharing, Melissa.

Also, there’s a Buddhist meditation practice called metta (translated: lovingkindness), a portion of which I find useful when I want to stay level in the presence of negative energy. In my mind, I say, “May you be at peace.” and really mean it. And then I move on. It allows for empathy without getting too caught up in others’ suffering.

These are great -- I love the idea of bringing literal protection with you where ever you go. I am extremely sensitive to the energy around me (I will even pick it up from the things I read sometimes) and one thing I do after being in negative energy is light a stick of white sage and then smudge all the energy immediately around me, up and down my body, for about 60 seconds or so. Also super woo, but also super effective, I feel lighter every time. It's not really portable though, so these are really helpful tips! 🩷

Katherine Zimmerman has a great Cutting Cords hypnotherapy track. If you like Archangels, you can also ask Michael to sever the cords with his sword.

Hematite is my go to grounding bracelet. I tend to be so airy fairy in my head and beyond that I need a heavier grounding stone. I found a great Reiki practitioner on Etsy who does Reiki infused bracelets.

Thanks for the reminder about the bubble. My new EMDR therapist has also talked about this, which means that the Universe is telling me that I need to set a reminder for myself when leaving the house.

Happy New Year!
