I have done hypnotherapy and self hypnosis for years. One of my favorite tracks is the Cutting Cords one that Katherine Zimmerman does. This is a link to her site and her post about it: https://trancetime.com/cut-the-ties-that-bind/

What’s fun about this track is that you have MANY cords, and most you don’t even realize. By going through the process, you’ll see that some are thick, some are thin, and each one is made up of a different element - like rope or wire or concrete... very interesting stuff.

Katherine is a lovely lady. I have interacted with her through the years.

I LOVE THIS! I'm going to use this one myself, because I've never had a guide through this process. Thanks so much.

I never thought about what my bubble looks like, but when you said this I realized my bubble is made of ice/snow and it melts when I don't need it anymore.

GORGEOUS! I bet the air inside is crisp and delicious, like the first gentle snowfall.

This is exactly what I needed to hear, I’m going to practice implementing these! Can you recommend a reputable online store to buy crystals?

EXACTLY Magdalena (mymetaphysicalmaven.com). The podcast is here: https://www.melissau.com/podcast/theres-a-crystal-in-my-bra-right-now-magdalena-mcclellan/

She's impeccable about her sourcing, culturally sensitive in her practices, and just a GODDESS in general. I adore her--she's been a friend for many years.

My Metaphysical Maven! Melissa did a podcast with her on the You Can Do Hard Things podcast a couple years ago, and she’s talked about her a lot on social over the years. I buy all my crystals from Magdalena and have always been so happy with them. Highly recommend her!

Hi there! First off, I adore Magdalena...found her thru Melissa and have purchased from her for years...and she's who inspired me to set up my own crystal shop 3 yrs ago!

Second, I find that having a few sources is handy...esp if you're looking for something specific. There's no way any one shop can carry every crystal at every price point! I'd also recommend OmCakiOm, Almanac Supply Co, and Able Ground (in addition to my own shop *Cough* Freya's Haven *cough*). All are conscientious in their sourcing and impeccable in their quality.

And lastly, I also teach a Crystals 101 Workshop in case anyone is interested in learning more about connecting with their intentions and supporting them with crystals.

In the meantime, if anyone has crystals questions HMU! ❤️

I agree, sometimes you look for something very specific (this was me + fire agate a few years ago) and have to go outside your usual sources. Thanks for the recos, and the offer to help!

Those are my go-to's and so I'm thinking there must be something in the collective intelligence there. I've never heard anyone else describe my exact methods and the words you put to the cord cutting technique with that visualization are beautiful. Wow I love it

10/10 love all these practices! I never go out in public without a Smoky Quartz on me. Never. i also enjoy imagining i'm burying all the cut cords in a deep, deep hole in the ground depending on the situation. As a Reiki Master, I'm in people's energy (on purpose) all the time and find the mantra, "My energy is mine. And your energy is yours." along with the visualization of the cord cutting helps to sever the connection at the end of a session.

I also love that mantra. It's so simple, but so clear! Brilliant.
